A timely reminder that stats aren't everything (and also that football is a team game).
Think Lankester probably edged it for me this month, but Bennett's been very good still.

It does, although Williams is also a good player & Bennett's return hasn't exactly coincided with an upturn in form. More a transition to a system better suited to him that we're seemingly moving away from again now anyway. Bonner also re-emphasised the other day just how much Liam had Bennettfitted from the move to Walsall – presumably that was to bait you too though.
P23, W7, D4, L15, 1.08PPG without him, for the record.

I like that little back pass fakeout stepover thing he he does. He's done it twice now that I recall and received exalted gasps from the stands.
It's not quite on a par with Jones doing a spinny turney thing but it has the same energy, I think.

I'm happy that a good young player with excellent potential was loaned out to help him develop on and off the pitch in a move that everybody - his manager, coaches, other supporters and in particular the player himself – agrees was of huge benefit to him & made him a better player.
