I'd have given PotM to Lankester this month anyway I think. A couple of goals, one of them that counted and some very lively performances. There is a supporters vote on social media channels for POM. Only 4 to choose from mind but it’s the fans that voted for Lennet.

However well Bennett did in a few lower pressure end of season matches, he would clearly have been starting the season as back up. I wouldn't say Plymouth at home was a low pressure match... Pedantic, I know, but he played (very well) at left back that night. The point still remains, Bonner was of the opinion that he wouldn't displace Williams at RB, and he wanted to get him regular playing time.

I'm getting a t-shirt made with 'snowflake Bonner obsessive' on it. Andrew Sounds like Joffjog's got her next piece of apparel... I would, but my other new one already has very similar energy 🤷🏻♀️❄️

He'll be needing a new trophy shelf soon.

A classic "well we've committed to a player of the month award so have to pick someone" set of options and winner for November.

A classic "well we've committed to a player of the month award so have to pick someone" set of options and winner for November. I'd argue Bennett had an actively poor month. Bizarre he even made the shortlist. Don't know who deserved it more though.

Yeah it was a fairly odd selection, not that any selection would have had much merit. I think it was all defenders actually wasn't it? Considering it was a month that contained 3 league games in which we conceded a combined 10 goals, it was particularly strange.

Really cant think who deserved it - cant be a def, no-one in mid did much, same up top.

Yeah it genuinely is quite difficult to pick a single worthy winner, never mind 4 options for a vote. I'd maybe have gone with Okenabirhie (good against Bracknell, not actively bad otherwise), Ahadme (scored against Spurs and our only league goal of the month against Northampton) Cousins (either fine or ineffectual) and.... McConnell (good against Spurs, bright cameo against Lincoln)?
And McConnell would have won.

Let’s give it to the guy who scored an own goal and was seriously at fault for the first at London Road. At least Digger didn’t get it.

That Jones one got re-run anyway because of that. And he (rightly) still won.
