Might as well tear up Haunstrupp's contract now and pay him off...

Trialist could be Alex Gibson- Hammond from Forest say some on Twitter Don't think it looks much like him at all, personally. Same distinctive ears though.

Even if his United career is over I suspect we'll support Haunstrup through his recovery process and I hope we do so too. It's the right thing and it's what we've done for others in his situation such as Davies and arguably Greg.
Really frustrating for everybody though.

Andrew Haunstrup didn't ask to be injured and am sure the club will help support him through rehabilitation process.

But the footballer player is the person just as the person is the football player. What I love about the Bonner-Barry, Barry-Bonner United is that we have created a set of values, beliefs and principles that most clubs would die for. That comes from the top and I'm bloody proud to say that I support Cambridge United. There will be no tearing up of contracts. That's what shite clubs do... (although I don't think you can do that anyway but I hope you get my point).

I hope Barry Corr has an insight into what long term injuries are like for players too. I think managers have historically been almost 'superstitious' about having injured players around the squad so it can be quite a lonely experience if they're excluded I'd imagine...and even if they're not I suspect injury would naturally keep you away from the team anyway.
My priority is with United of course so if it had to happen then I'm glad it happened early enough into pre-season for us to replace him. I wish him all the best though.

If anything, performance should improve. Happy for you to step up to the mark Dylan š For the avoidance of doubt, I meant your performance should improve because you have no work distractions, not that the function's performance should improve because someone else if doing it...!
