Who we have played and when isn’t really the issue for me. Pre season is all about getting minutes, the worrying thing is the amount of players we have who haven’t played many (in some cases, any) minutes at all.
You would imagine Gardner, Smith and Loft would all be regular starters, it is a bit concerning that 2 of them definitely won’t play on Saturday and Smith only has 45 mins under his belt, although he did look good, which gives me a little bit of confidence that he can do a job for an hour or so on Saturday.

Agree with the above. The injuries we have picked up in pre-season and their potential impact on options for the starting line-up at Stockport are concerning as are the lack of options in attack.

Trouble is, with Gardner (and Taylor Richards) getting no pre-season minutes, it’s a bit of a stretch to think he could start the opening game. So we’re looking worryingly lightweight.
Morrison will surely be back though. God help us if we’re starting a new season with Okedina in the lineup,

I’m not overly worried about us at the back. Morrison missing both this weekends games was not ideal but he’s experienced enough to cope with being a little rusty, we also have other options should he not be ready to play.
Think it will be a case of needs must with Smith (Depending on how serious the injury to Digby is) I would expect Smith to start and then possibly Richards to replace him after an hour. Hoddle would have been an option from the bench but he seems to have been absent from games the last few weeks.
Would be nice to get some sort of info regarding the injuries. All we know is that they’re likely out for a couple of weeks, seems a little unlikely they will all be back fit at the same time but we will see.

I don't think Gardner is a injury apparently he came in very unfit so is away off the pace.

Watched Histon Vs United youth last week and one of the youth coaches was telling a friend I was with who is a Scout for West Ham. Either way knock or no knock he isn't fit to play for a bit.
