12:00 kick off for the Ipswich game - seems a bit strange for a PSF?
A couple of possible reasons I suspect:
Last pre season it was very hot, so playing at mid day might avoid the hottest part of the day potentially.
The SAG/Police have asked for an early kick off before most pubs are open to avoid potential anti social behaviour.

A visit to Barnet is always fun, and actually strikes me as a good ‘dress rehearsal ’ for the season. They went well in the Conference last season so probably a reasonable test.
I’m a bit ambivalent about Ipswich. I was hoping we could have enticed Luton for a visit but now they are massive they’ll probably be on tour in Thailand!

Barnet is not fun.
Pretty sure we gave away a 2-0 lead, the stand was literally wobbling underneath us and the police piled in on half our fans.
It’s in the middle of a Rec in surbubia, a football ground hidden among a training venue / conference centre mash up.

Ipswich are also playing Stevenage at 3pm the same day in a PSF double-header, hence the early KO time. |

Last season's pre-season friendly v Hull was also a 12pm kick off as I think they had another friendly v P*sh later that day. |

I remember a friendly with them when they were in League 2 and us in the conference, and they spent the whole game practising their cheating. I felt like I was going mad, but there were plenty of snaps of them pulling their own shirts while jumping. Yuck. |
