We have an offer in for Bonne apparently. Heard that ages ago but assume he is trying to get the best deal he can as he would be taking a big drop in wages coming here

Bonne would be a typical Bonner signing. Had a good few seasons a few seasons ago, had a bit of a dry spell lately so would have a point to prove. Good age too

Been expecting him to head back to Orient the moment he was released by Charlton.

I guess it depends whether he wants the comfort of somewhere he knows - Orient, or the challenge we could offer him? Possibly a bit like the Sam Smith situation, when choosing his next opportunity.

He's also an Ipswich boy so we'd be a better location for commuting.

Almost a 1 in 3 type striker and a good age with something still to prove. Bonne would be an excellent acquisition - tons of experience at this level.

The CUFC XI are away at Newmarket tonight. Given our squad depth, or lack of, I'd imagine it'll include a fair few who've played the last few games. Your Jobe's, Njoku's and McConnell's etc.

I'd expect your Yearns, your Bartons your Hoddles and your Sandifords too, yeah.
As well as maybe that trialist lad.
Maybe even a few minutes for Cousins. Bonner talked about him being 2 weeks behind everyone after St Albums so he I figure he might get 45 minutes.

He's also an Ipswich boy so we'd be a better location for commuting. Not much in it by car or train. About 15 minutes more from Leyton, but with a more frequent train service. We have great football coaches and new training facilities. I hope that helps. (no coach or train puns intended)

I see Leyton Orient as a slightly bigger club and possibly pay more due to location

Anyone who is going tonight, just be aware its 7:30 and not 7:45 as previously advertised.
