Some of the maps apps are showing the A428 closed today between Caxton and St Neots Yes I've just noticed that. That's going to make life tricky for me...

Yet to see the new home shirt in the flesh but from what I've seen on screens we now appear to be playing in Wolves old gold, not amber. There must be others as DISAPPOINTED as I am by this orangecreep. Orangification will OUTRAGE at least one of our brethren. We appear to have exchanged shirts with Wolves. One notes that Umbro appears to relish darkening the tone of its polyseter soccer uniforms, viz. Luton's red.
On the televizion henceforth, the Abbey will sound as though it's in the hands of the away fans, owing to their PROXIMITY to the microphones. This might be a further cause of DISQUIET.

First thing I noticed. The other was, quite a few in the South stand didn't seem that bothered when we scored :-{

Decent enough workout and a few promising individual performances. Reyes didn’t have much to do but looked comfortable with short passes to the defenders, his long range passing needs a lot of work. Over all we were solid at the back and restricted WBA to very few efforts on goal. Smith looked very good in his 45 mins. Calm and composed on the ball and not afraid to do the dirty side of the game either. Brophy was poor first half but made a few useful runs forward in the second, which drew fouls. KaiKai had a few moments but wasn’t involved as much as I’d have liked, Kachunga likewise, although in fairness the second half was a bit of a non event in terms of attacking play. Lavery is a proper pain for defenders, his work rate is excellent and he took his penalty really well. He is very lightweight though and I’m slightly concerned he’ll be bullied out of games by certain teams/defenders. Overall a lot to be optimistic about. Do still feel we are light in certain positions and hope we have added a couple by this time next week. Can see what we’re trying to do though, I think it’ll catch us out a few times but it’s new and in the long term it will hopefully pay off. I’m interested in how you come to the conclusion that Brophy was poor yet Kachunga and KaiKai had their moments? Brophy’s work rate was excellent and a last ditch interception prevented a WBA goal. He also got on the ball a lot, on the half turn playing in Andrew who whipped in some excellent crosses. Kachunga was dreadful all game ane KaiKai had two shots the keeper could throw his hat on.

I’m still trying to work out what Kachunga’s strengths are tbh - at least Brophy brings some dynamism to the side.

Brophy was poor in the first half. Gave the ball away numerous times and chose the wrong option on occasion. He was much improved (As stated) Second half and has promise in that new role. I was probably being over generous to the other 2 you mentioned. Kachunga especially didn’t get involved (as stated)

Lennett is off isn't he? Why is he playing in the "reserve" fixture?

Are all our new midfielders injured already? Is everyone injured regardless of position?

Just a thought but the orangification of the U's shirt could be a business decision to sell more shirts in places like say Rossnowlagh,Newtonards and Ballymena. The Dutch national team fans might be interested too I reckon.
