Officially one of the best strikers in the league. Sign him up! Andrew I have never been particularly fond of Coldplay, but one cannot overlook Chris Martin's remarkable goal record this season.

I'd bloody love him to be a yellow, he'd cause defenders a lot of trouble. I reckon we'd have an adventure of a lifetime if he signed for us. He certainly would fix U's upfront, as goal scoring has been the hardest part this season. If anyone else was thinking of getting Coldplay songs into a paragraph about Chris Martin, I'd imagine it'd go something just like this.

Would love him to be here next season. Hopefully we can persuade him to stay

Who's that guy in #3? Maybe we should take a look at him.

I don’t know his Ipswich contract situation is but I fear clubs with deeper pockets and long arms might be able to offer him/Ipswich a contract/fee that we couldn’t. I think he’s said he loves it here so hopefully we can offer him regular football rather than be a squad player for a bigger club and some new midfielders to be the Gass supply.

Hopefully they’ll be so giddy with promotion they’ll say yes to our measly offer of a transfer fee.

He is top class. His chest control and quick feet remind me of Dave Kitson and Barry Corr (when he played against us / bosses us for sarfend).

Worry not, when Ipswich go up, it will be a step up too far for Ali Al-Hamadi, and we'll get him on loan instead as a replacement for Gassan.

Who's that guy in #3? Maybe we should take a look at him. Too late for that. The writing was on the wall for him as soon as he was a naughty boy last season... After that he only had money on his mind, and signed for Reading.

I can see a similar scenario to what happened with Smith happening with Ahadme, that being we sign him next summer when his deal at Ipswich runs out with them deciding to loan him out elsewhere next season. I hope I'm wrong and I really think he should be one of our biggest targets next season, Idris El Mizouni has been on loan 2 seasons in a row with Orient (albeit in a higher division that second season) so getting another year loan could be an option if needed.

I think he’s a natural, really good on the Boyle, but maybe he needs to be playing for a ‘town’ club?
