Pleased with that. He's an absolute bloody handful and can score.

Happy with that. I think we wanted him while he was at Norwich.
Would have preferred it to be a permanent of course, but if that isn't possible then a season loan is good if it means getting our targets.

Well was a handful against us way back last August. 80% of his goal contributions last season came in August, which is also the only time last season he consistently got a run of 90 minutes.
Was starved of minutes at Ipswich and then was mainly used as a bench option for his second spell at Burton.
Seems like a player who needs consistent minutes and some faith from the coaching staff. Bonner must fancy he can get him to find his form.

Went back to Burton but they had 7 loanees so could only pick 5 in the match squad. Seemed a handful against us last summer as you say so hopefully can refind that form.

I like this guy. He’s a handful.
Bit worried for our fans who can’t spell Janneh though. This will send them into a tail spin.

You do wonder if there's potential to make his move a permanent one with his loan history. Seems to be a player who isn't able to claim a first team place in a better squad but will offer us something that we were perhaps missing last season.

Yeah seems like a classic Bonner signing. Hopefully another one or two strikers to come this summer.

I think there'll certainly be one more out and out striker for sure, and then either one more or a versatile winger/striker type. Depends on who's available and budget I guess

Are Ipswich making a mistake sending him out on loan?

Pleased with this as from what I saw from him in the Burton game, he looked a useful player at this level. Another Strang/Bonner type signing with something to prove and start an upward curve.
Ipswich could be a good source of talented players for this level as I imagine they will spend big for Championship quality players.
Couple of good solid L1 quality guys with Ahadme and Andrew.

Yay a striker. And like others very happy with this signing.
Not sure on his height exactly but he should certainly be winning a few headers and getting on the end of some crosses (do headers still not count as shots/goals though?).
Welcome Gassan.

Are Ipswich making a mistake sending him out on loan? Ahadme was a bit of a panic buy by Ipswich. He struggled to get the opportunities from them in League 1 after their promotion, so they are unlikely to use him now in the Championship. They also want to make upgrades so a loan makes sense for them and Gassan.
