And they're at Pish on Tuesday (I know, I know) then host Stevenage next Saturday so they might make it 9 by next weekend.

I’m glad there are 5 games before we play Cheltenham because if we were playing them next week, I’d bet my house, wife and children on them scoring their first league goal of the season against us.

Dunno, the EFL trophy cup caught my attention, though.
Exeter 0 v 9 (nine) Reading.
God knows what team Exeter put out but unless it was the under 13's that's a remarkable result!

Another blank for Cheltenham at Pish. 8 games in, 0 league goals still.

Another blank for Cheltenham at Pish. 8 games in, 0 league goals still. Two players sent off too. What a nightmare of a start to the season for them.

Surely another sacking on the horizon, 8 games without seeing a goal would have most fans seething!

Cheltenham's non-scoring record is quite something, on the Not The Top Twenty pod, they said they're the only team that haven't scored all the way down to step 10 (!), which is more than a thousand clubs.
Mental, you'd expect to have one go in by mistake at some point.

9.6 shots pg apparently. Compared to our 13.4.
Or to compare to a similarly shite team, Fleetwood are 11.3.
Shrewsbury with 9.3, Lincolon with 9.7 and Burtons with 10.3 make up the bottom four with Cheltenham, fwiw.

Shows how reliant they were on Alfie May upfront.

Yep I think a fair few of us called out that they would struggle this year. Though even I didn't think it would be this bad.

Yep I think a fair few of us called out that they would struggle this year. Though even I didn't think it would be this bad. Reading last night’s match report on the BBC website the first 6 paragraphs focus almost exclusively on Cheltenham’s failure to win a game or score a goal rather than on Pish’s victory (which is of course fine!) I wonder if it’s becoming a bit of an albatross around their neck which in turn will affect confidence, morale and motivation. As you say, there was a sense they might struggle a bit this season but this is really, really bad.

Another blank for Cheltenham at home to Stevenage. It’s getting ridiculous now. I’m getting worried slightly ahead of our trip there next month😐
