The point is that NUFC have the full stop. Always have. The street next door to the stadium is St. James' St. This is their correct version. Right or wrong that's how they do it up there. Proof readers should abide by that. They are doing it incorrectly. Just because that’s how they do it doesn’t make it correct Well Martin you better tell them. And while you're at it tell St. Neots Town FC and St. Ives FC too to change their club badges. |

Changing Saint to St. and Street to St. Is a recipe for confusion. What were they thinking? Saint should be St and street St. If you were finishing a sentence with the street abbreviation, would it then be St James St.. Or does the full stop at the end of the abbreviation nullify the need for the second one? |
