To be brutally honest the problem is the montage. I know they are de riguer verging on the complusory for club social media channels but in a book publishing context it looks ametuerish. Your writing deserves better Russ. I’d be trying a different designer.

Bottom right or bottom left. Have a feeling the brick wall would look amazing once folded on a book but it's hard to tell

Your writing deserves better Russ. I’d be trying a different designer. The designer is doing a great job, not just with the covers (all of which have been designed under my instruction), but the interior too. But part of the point of sharing the designs is definitely to take on board any feedback, even if we can't/won't implement it all.

Maybe one day an alternative memorable moments cover depicting Jordan Patrick beating up a cabbie, Steve Guinan waving his willy about, Blaine Hudson punching his way through a windscreen and Tes Bramble getting a prison tattoo.

Is there any reason why the players in the montage are all from very recent times? Most the last 10 or so? Dion being the oldest and none at all before him? Assume this has been explained before so apologies but thought the book is greatest moments of all time?

Sticking Alan Biley in for the sole reason of his salmon-like leap to head the winner against the Blue Scum in our late seventies promotion season might shift a few extra copies Russ

Get all that but feels a bit disrespectful to the past and doesn't reflect the depth of history that the club has and that the book correctly covers. IMO.

It would be fair to say I respect the history of the club I support, but I can't do much about the availability of high-quality, free-to-use images from 35 years ago!

You've written a book about it! I only probed because your previous answer was less definitive suggesting recency bias and marketing rather than free to use issues. Would like to have seen Brendon Batson, Steve Fallon, Bill Leivers for what it's worth. Hey ho.

More to the point, is this not going to have the same dimensions as the previous book? That would be a shame, not only because I have bookshelf OCD, but I actually quite enjoyed the unique feel of the last one.
And top left.
