I have a funny feeling Monk will walk away! I’m glad I’m not the only one to have this same thought today. I did wonder whether he would be in charge of us against Port Vale. Sounds ridiculous but after the season we’ve had, I can’t rule it out completely.

If we go down I should hope he does walk. It's save us having to sack him. Andrew Joking apart I wonder if he has had assurances the job is still his if we go down.

Christ I hope not. We're five points clear and he's got 9 games. If we go down he's a disaster.

I'd sleepwalked into the fact that we weren't going down so hadn't even considered that. And if we were to go down he'd have the opportunities to start building HIS squad. But is League Two his bag...? Don't know like most things at the moment!

I fully expected to wake up on Wednesday and open my phone to read we had parted ways with Monk. I rather hope we have 'bottomed out' after that result.

Neil Warnock is available. As the most relentlessly pessimistic poster on this MB that's surely a new low. Even for you.

Well we are one of a few clubs he hasn't saved yet!

I'd definitely like to see Rowett for obvious reasons and also Danny Cowley or even Leam Richardson. The luxury option would be Garry Monk. You never know. Indeed you don't!! Apologies if this has been done before! Yeah I have to hold my hands up there. I’ve had a shocker 😬

Which of the Cowleys did we all want? Because the one who manages Colchester is doing an awful job.

He started his role with Colchester in 22nd, 5 points above the relegation zone. They're now 23rd, 1 point below safety and only two points above 24th... Tell me that's a good job...
