...among other things. Cambridge United's Greatest Moments, in which Mark Bonner features prominently as an interviewee and the subject of many other people's musings, is out now. I never imagined when I wrote it that it would arrive in store the day after the Bonner era came to an end. It serves now, albeit unintentionally, as a timely tribute to that era, with several chapters dedicated to the various great moments he was involved in: Newcastle, promotion, the great escape etc. There are of course many other moments from the pre-Bonner era, as we've been blessed with more than one great manager in our existence! Throughout December, you can get the new book (£14.99) and 100 Things I Love About Cambridge United for just £19.99. All those who pre-ordered (thank you) can get 100 Things I Love About Cambridge United for £5. Thing is, I was thinking this morning that a book (or documentary) about Mark Bonner should be done, probably prompted by those videos of Mullin promoting his book, and talking about Bonz. It is a real top notch Roy of the Rovers story that we have all just enjoyed with Mark over the past few years. I think it would be a cracking read and tribute to the man once the dust settles....

Agreed. There is a very healthy dose of Bonner in this book, which I’m even more glad about now. Hopefully his story with us isn’t finished.
