Just in time for Bolton's January recruits to bed in, hopefully ours as well!

Cheap tickets for students for this one
Definitely some strong potential to continue the trend of us getting walloped or playing appallingly (or both) whenever we have a ticket promotion on.

Indeed, our next 4 home performances are guaranteed to be appallingly feeble and inept: - Saturday 13th January v Fleetwood: Foundation Matchday - South Stand community initiative
- Saturday 27th January v Burton Albion: Academy Day - South Stand community initiative
- Tuesday 6th February v Bolton: Student Night - South Habbin special offer
- Saturday 10th February v Cheltenham: Youth Development Day - South Stand community initiative

I've been wondering about this, I know our record is abysmal for these but I always felt part of that was because suddenly the crowds swelled for these initiatives. Given we have been selling out 3/4 of the ground for most home games this season I'm hoping we can break this 'hoodoo'!

FGR at home last season was a rare convincing win with a full South Stand full of home fans but yes, these fan promotion initiatives games we always seem to struggle in.

I'm fairly sure the idea that we're rubbish when we have an initiative on has been thoroughly debunked more than once. I'm sure one of our friendly admins or stattos (or someone that knows the right words to search, I suppose) could put me right.

My feeling'd be the theory comes from when South stand initiatives were a volunteer led thing back in the conference days when we were typically garbage with or without fans in the south stand.
It's like saying...we always seem to be rubbish when I wear trousers 🤷♂️

Apart from Newcastle when’s the last time we took 1000 plus and won?

Does anyone local know if the roadworks in Fen Ditton are still ongoing please? Looking for a heads up as I travel from outside the area for home games TIA

Everygame we have lost has involved a football! Coincidence?

In the February thread I predicted we'd lose this so, being my usual consistent self and getting massively carried away after yesterday, I'm predicting a 1-1. Looking at one of their forums after their draw at home to Barnsley, Bolton's performance seemed underwhelming: missed chances, lapses of concentration in defence, lots of aimless passing, unforced errors and a few injuries to the squad. Perhaps it's a (relatively) good time to play them...?
