The Kingston Arms being restored to a pub, after its ludicrous but thankfully brief stint as a venue that specialized in “wine and hummus” is the best recent pub-related news. Still not 100% back to former glories: last time I attended there was an absence of Woodforde’s Wherry, to my mind East Anglia’s finest brew. Plus no big metal pots of chips. Wherry isn't what it was. It's pretty average these days. I think their Nog has improved, conversely.

Hi all Blackpool fan in peace. Me, wife and dog are staying in North West Norfolk for a week. On Saturday I'm on the train to Cambridge for a good day out - hopefully three points. However, you're finding the net these days so, we'll see! Just out of interest......whereabouts in NW Norfolk are you staying? I emigrated up here from Cambridge over 20 years ago and now reside on the doorstep of the Sandringham estate. I`m afraid I can`t comment on the reliability or otherwise of the train service from King`s Lynn as I throw myself on the tender mercies of the A10 for my journeys to The Abbey BUT! If you`re driving to Lynn to catch the train DON`T pay the extortionate parking fees at the station car park OR risk a ticket by parking in Morrison`s car park next door. Best bet is to park on street for free in Highgate and walk through the Matalan / Morrison`s car park - a five minute stroll at most. If you`re not taking the car to Lynn the bus service in this part of rural Norfolk is surprisingly good even in these winter months. Safe journey.

Reading between the lines on his comments about Zeno, it sounds if Morro,or Jubril, or both are doubtful for Saturday which is most definitely not nice.

I'm not used to this site yet so I don't know how to reply to someone. Anyway, to the person who asked where we are staying in Norfolk it's the Old School House at Wereham. It's about 6 miles from Downham Market where my wife's dropping me off to get the train to Cambridge. £9.20 return is an absolute steal! Then to meet friends who are fellow season tickets at Bloomfield Rd. They're staying Friday and Saturday nights. I think we're meeting in the Cambridge Blue and I'm looking forward to taking in two or three other excellent pubs in that area.

Andrew, I know for previous Mark Bonner pre-match interviews you've been a great student of the water bottle play. I thought Neil Harris's tea drinking was quite self assured. How do you compare?

It was impressive stuff. Not a huge fan of the mouth swilling but at least there was no audible slurp.
7 out of 10 I'd say 👍🏻
