"Bonner was sacked for many reasons. I don’t see the logic in sacking him and then reappointing him literally months later. Has he suddenly improved? It’s not about him swallowing pride. It’s about us appointing someone better equipped to do the job. Bonner shouldn’t even be considered"
If Harris does leave then I'm hoping some of the Bonnparisons leave with him - whatever the narrative was it just became tiresome and unfair on either man. Hopefully having a Harris buffer between Bonner and the new man will put an end to it all.

This is mental. That's it, that's the post. The most mental part is that people are seriously (I think) suggesting we reappoint Bonner. Can imagine Fergie and the inbreds praying but also pissing themselves laughing at the thought of this happening. A couple of people may be being serious but it mostly looks in jest.

You're certainly talking to the right person, but let's not cross that bridge until it's confirmed. I have a faint hope he's going to come out and say that loyalty matters, he's started a project and he came here to give at least 18 months and all he's focused on is stuffing the scum. If he says that I will love him forever and will put his picture on my bedroom wall (pending on the wife's approval). If he leaves then I never want him to step into Cambridgeshire again the dirty City bastard.

If he does go, the decision to retain the backroom staff around him looks a lot wiser, that's for sure.

Personally wasn't fussed with NH appointment And not to bothered if he goes especially if we get a wedge as compensation
Don't think the football on offer has been any great improvement
Bonner needed a break. get him back refreshed and finish the project

He achieved some wonderful things at the club. If it was any other young manager who had achieved a promotion, two subsequent survivals and an FA Cup upset, I suspect you wouldn't consider the idea ridiculous. In truth, the reason MB wouldn't be a good appointment is that it's just too soon since his last stint. The same players are here, listening to the same voice. If we were are in this situation in two years time and MB has had a solid stint somewhere else, then why not?

WOW! I haven't been on the message board since shortly after the match last night. Just logged on and....well....I need to think about what I'm going to post. Haven't a clue at the moment... #GlazersOnSpeedDial #NotTHOSEGlazers If you don't mind ElG I'd like to adopt that as my post. No further comment....

I respect and value paul barry and co enough that I can’t see it even being a thought, but the fact there are some who genuinely think bonner could be the answer and anything would have changed since November is mental.

I hold that apocalyptic evening as Peak Message Board, the level of which we've never quite recovered. And by God we've had some miserable shite with which to contend over a decade & more.

Let’s remember large parts of last season and the majority of this. The football was dire, taught a lesson by many clubs and many managers. We were in complete disarray when Harris took over. He needs to go away, prove he can manage another club and learned from his many mistakes. I have huge respect for the job he done overall here, but his time had come. Some great memories but somewhat tarnished by some truly awful ones in more recent times. His last game in charge for a start.

Yeah, I was backing Gary Rowett, but anything suggesting that keeping Bonner would have been better than getting Harris for a dozen games sets the Bonner hate off, and they lost sight of that.
