Comes across nicely relaxed, measured in his words, more Bonner than Harris I would say. Will he be trying to galvanise the club and reestablish that connection from the terrace to the pitch? Well Harris managed it in 8 weeks so I don’t see why not.

Hard to judge much from those "New Manager" interviews. All very generic, not sure anyones going to come in and say something edgy/off the cuff.
One thing I did like about Harris was his analytical approach to the game and walking through that in an interview. Hopefully being the analytical man that he is, Monk does similar. Should hopefully get much more of his character from that press post Northampton

I like him. And not just because he looks a bit like an aged, beardless James Brophy.
Comes across honest, straight forward and down-to-earth, which feels like a reassuring balm being applied to recent wounds.
