Grabbing the bull by the balls and starting this one.
Hopefully the third new manager bounce of the season. Monk says he's not going to rip up the tactics board so should probably expect the same sort of lineups we've had lately, but with Taylor back in. I'm going 2-1, and a collective sigh of relief.

I always think we have an advantage when we've not played a Tuesday night but the opposition have going into the game yet in reality we somehow look more sluggish. Hoping the new manager bounce avoids that and we can grab at least a draw here.

Looking forward to seeing what influence the new manager has had and also hearing 'we hate boro' from all sides of the ground again and also 'we hate boro' more than you'. The tongue-in-cheek bantz in this game are great.
I predict a slightly disappointing 1-1 draw but with some signs of heading in the right direction.

My happy is back in full clap.
Roaring 3-1. Taylor back with a bang, something from a defender, Brophy hat trick*

About as likely a late-season, safety-assuring goalscoring machine as Dunk was last year.

Hard to work out if Northampton getting an absolute pasting tonight is a good or bad thing for Saturday, really.

Can’t see tonight being a good thing, they’ll tighten up at the back. Can see a single goal winning it Saturday, hopefully that’s us!

The ginger Rivaldo will step up. Had a great chance on Saturday which he put over the bar. But he'll learn from that and definitely be on the scoresheet on Saturday. Lump on. Certainty.

Brophy scoring will be a Monk off his back.

If Monk can get them to pressure, win headers, and pass to our own players I'll be happy. One or two of those I'd settle for to be honest after what has been witnessed under all the regimes this season.
Secretly though, I'm dreaming about a revolution.
