99 times out of 100 with a new manager, even of you lose the first few games, you say things like:
"He's got us doing X better than before at least"
"The players are working harder but its not quite coming off yet"
"You can see that he wants the players to play a certain way, they haven't quite got it yet"
I don't see any of that with Monk, which is the worry. We're lining up on paper similar to Bonner/Harris, but without the early season discipline of a Bonner team or the confidence (dare I even say swagger?) of a Harris team.
I've voted Out, but I know that's ridiculous really. Effectively I see this as 2 weeks to save his job though.

He's either our manager in league 1 next year and i'll absolutely back him to rebuild us
Or
He's not our manager when we're in league 2.
He talks in his press conferences like a beaten caretaker manager, my god they might be the most dull yet

I hope he's more specific when talking to the players, evidence on the pitch says he isn't though

It may sound stupid, but let’s get on the phone to MB and get him back. We need someone with real CU heart for our remaining games. This is no longer just about tactics or formations, it’s about giving your all for your club and fans and chasing every xxxxxxx ball. Well let’s hope the players don’t come on this message board and read the comments about none of them deserve being kept on next season, otherwise they won’t be wanting to give everything and chase every ball for the club or fans.

What's their reasoning for not wanting to over the past week? Fear of relegation? This team needs full support for all the fans. The crowd turn so quickly at home and that has to stop now. To stay in this league the players need cheering on until the last kick.

To earlier but Corr and Betsy should have gone by now sorry they are a part of the crap this season and last. allow Monk to bring in his no2 in the break we have coming up. Personally think we are down anyway as we have players who don't care and they need leaving at home.

To whoever started this poll, GROW UP That's me. Yes, it seems insane to be genuinely calling for a manager's head after 3 games, but the three games have been absolutely woeful. We've shipped 10 goals in two games and looked lost, clueless and devoid of any tactics in all three. For a new manager to come in and make us play significantly worse than before he came in is incredibly alarming - and that must be very rare in football. Even in the short term, poor managers tend to get slight boost out of the players when they come in. The manner of the defeats is alarming. As is, to be frank, Monk's persona. He's come across as completely unprepared and incredibly complacent. I don't really care about the three years that he's had out of football, but perhaps appointing a manager with no managerial experience of the lower leagues was a mistake. The falsehood people are telling themselves is that we're rubbish anyway "what do you expect". This simply isn't true. We were excellent in August and were a solid midtable team under Harris. We've got players with the best CV I've known since I was a fan. The poll was set up in all sincerity, and unfortunately for you btb, most people agree with me on this one. I agree with others that the board won't sack him three games in, but maybe if he gets the sense that the fans are incredibly pissed off that might motivate him to pull his finger out or just bugger off.

If someone had told Monk when he brought his Leeds team to the Abbey in January 2017 that in just seven years' time he'd be sitting in the home dug-out & managing a bunch of FECKING ARSE SHITE BAXTADS, I suspect he'd have faked his own death & got a job at Argos.

Mixed feelings. Too late to change now but this is not a match made in heaven. Has any manager had such an appalling start? If we get relegated with barely another point on the board, then he has to go. His credibility will be shot to pieces and whoever appointed him will need to hold their hands up and admit they got it badly wrong.
It will be really depressing if we start a League 2 campaign with Monk in charge.

Also the Northampton game was abysmal and we held on for dear life (at home) against mid table cloggers with nothing to play for. All 3 games have been a shambles. Poor subs too. Killed the game.
