Going to be another large crowd We really have impressed with crowds holding up so well this season, struggling near the bottom and one of the lowest scorers in the division doesn't scream 'lets go and watch United' to the fair weather fan.

Perhaps faceless suit Tunbridge is doing something right?

Do you know, I've never seen him where a full suit. He does seem to have a nice range of cardigans, mind you...

Perhaps faceless suit Tunbridge is doing something right? I don't think he's come in for that much criticism has he? Maybe the badge but we are doing lots of the pitch and of course there are still the stadium plans to come.

A lot around the badge stuff, yes, and around some decisions taken at the club such as the main stand car parking saga. I've noticed a general timbre of eye-rolliness at things he says or does, and a slightly disparaging attitude to things he did at Stevenage. eg. Burger King.

There is definitely a school of thought that sees the badge as a ‘Tunbridge vanity project’.

It's a pretty thankless task working in a senior position at a football club though, isn't it? You need a thick skin. There's not many owners / chairman / CEOs / directors of football etc, who don't get sh*t from fans. Even though those fans have no idea what they really do or how talented they are in their field. But that's also understandable, because us fans are emotional fools. Particularly me. But I try to look at the big picture when I see fans moaning about how the club is in a bad place. - Record high attendances - Excellent level of fan engagement - Shiny new top-of-the-range training ground - A NRE and Habbin redevelopment that looks like it might actually go ahead after 30 years of false starts - Playing third tier football for what looks likely to be a fourth straight season So it seems to me that the people running the club are generally doing the right things and despite three seasons of "struggle", to differing extents, we're actually in a really good place. And although I was "Monk Out" for six days, I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to Barnsley and I'm happy to see him taking the club forward.

- Record high attendances In spite of Tunbridge, not because of him. The Bonner Effect. White elephant. Should have spent the money on the squad and we wouldn't be in the mess we have been the past 2 seasons. Plans are all terrible + we haven't seen them. What's taking so long? Silence is concerning. Capacity is too small and too big. Too little seating. Not enough standing. Won't be built until next decade. Hurry up! Happy with the third tier?! We have to shed this "little old Cambridge" mentality. Where's the club's ambition? Etc.

Good weather predicted for Saturday... an ideal situation for some prime BST U's action!
Optimistic for this one even with Charlton's recent good form, 3 points and we're pretty much home and dry.
