What data would that be? It’s just a bog standard site with a few public blogs! Well, it doesn’t matter what the data was; the issue is that she gained unauthorised access to it. THERE WAS NO DATA, just a childish prank, hence why she wasn’t prosecuted. Unlike the phone thief.

She wasn’t prosecuted because of a statute of limitations, but what she admitted to was a breach of the Computer Misuse Act. It may have been fairly trivial, but she intentionally broke the law.

What do we think of the assisted dying bill? I see a fair bit of criticism for 'the Harold Shipman bill' on twitter and plenty of criticism that vulnerable people are at risk but I think I must have missed the point. It's only for people with a terminal diagnosis and with 6 months or so left to live isn't it? It's not for Granny and it's not for people with depression. I'm in favour, although I've not really boiled down into the details of it. Andrew Instinctively, I am really uneasy about it. Presumably anyone who decides to go down this route must have full cognition? Or can a third party eg someone with a health LPA decide? Given that person is likely going to inherit, big conflict of interest if they see the alternative as their inheritance disappearing on care costs. What's the sanction for murder of a person who has asked to die? Still a mandatory life sentence? The professionals involved already have too much to do, this will take time which could be more usefully spent, and the person may well die naturally before the process has concluded in any case. The respect process already exists where life really is not worth living, and palliative care provides pain relief for someone with a terminal illness. And life is precious. So no, I don't like it. Which section are you referring to, because adding a blog doesn’t really reach the threshold for sections 1-3.
