A honey bees stinger is made up of two barbed lancets, meaning when they sting, the stinger cannot be pulled out again. The stinger is attached to the bees digestive tract, so subsequently the entire digestive system, muscles, and nerves are pulled out, which is what causes the death of the Bee

They're fine if not, like stinging other insects. So really, the question how THICK-SKINNED is the average L1 team.

So, is Lavery now going to be known as the Wasp ? Nah. Has to be Jasper. That's what we all called wasps in my pre-youth. As an aside, seem to remember we were referred to as the Wasps during our Abbey Utd days so in keeping with our history too. Boxer

There's a rumour they're all going on strike anyway for less flowers and more honey.

I saw a miner bee at Anglesey Abbey the other week, and only yesterday I saw a miner bee with a shiny iridescent green body in a garden down Fen Road. It reminded me of our third strip.
Miner bees of all varieties burrow into the ground and are much smaller than other bees. The one I saw at Anglesey Abbey was coloured like a regular bee, but about half the width, bredth and height. An eighth the size. Miner bees are minor bees? At first glance I thought the one in Fen Road was a fly, but it went from flower to flower. The queen won't accept that. If the workers picket the hive, there is every danger of a drone strike.
