Only right. He's had an excellent start to the season.
Well done Shayne.
Hopefully he stands next to Mitov at a corner and they can bond over the Abbey. 🤗

Bulgaria seem to swap between Dimi, Vutsov, Dyulgerov and Naumov, on a loop. No offence to the Bulgarian league, but surely the Scottish Premiership is a higher level than the other three are playing it? They are all a similar age too, 22-25 ish, i.e., a little bit younger than than Dimi but not much, so it's not like he's is trying to force his way past an established 35 year old veteran or something. I find it a bit odd that he doesn't get more game time for them. Maybe the move to Aberdeen and their good form will help him nail down the starting spot.

It'd cause one hell of a palaver(y) on this board if he was injured.

Lavery v Luxembourg
Nerds, how many other active internationals have we had for one of the home countries?. Last one I can think of is Tom Finney in.

Well, if one's definition of home countries includes Bermuda, that's the place not the shorts, then Reggie Lambe?

Not a “home international” but Liam Daish made his debut for Republic of Ireland whilst playing for United.

Les Cartwright played for Wales a few times, but pretty sure that was before he joined us.

Les Cartwright played for Wales a few times, but pretty sure that was before he joined us. I vaguely remember Les playing as a U, but it was a long time ago! Tom Finney made the Norden Eirland 1982 World Cup squad and went to Spain for the tournament. I remember a TV piece done on their team bus and there was Tom.

Unused substitute tonight, although given the number 9 shirt so might get a go in Bulgaria.
