Option 4.
But if I had to choose from the 3 I'd go for option 3.
1 is a worse version of what we have now, with illegible lettering.
2 is a nonsense and nothing to do with the club.
At this stage though, I'd much rather Paul Barry (if it is him angling for the change) to just tells us which crest he wants. He's done so much for the club that he can draw it himself if he wants and I'd be ok with that.

This is rivaling FAB in the "meltdown over totally innocuous thing" stakes. Don't want to speak for Mike but I get the impression he doesn't give two hoots about the contents of the poll – he was just doing routine admin duties of clearing up largely duplicate threads. The suggestion that he did so under duress from the club is, frankly, hilarious to me. Anyway, I suggest a way forward might be for this thread to be locked (sorry foolhandy) so the coast is clear for one of the badge truthers to start a poll with any options they want. Then we can get back to doing what we do best on this messageboard: ripping into our new signing before he's kicked a ball and calling for our DoF's head 🤷♂️ When does the football start again? Yeah, 100% what he said.

Just looked up Mike's posts and it's clear he's pro-change. No surprise. I don't have an issue with anyone having an opinion, regardless of whether they're an admin, and I appreciate that a poll on here won't change the route the club is clearly looking to take. But I still maintain that trying to shut down the discussion because the possible outcome doesn't fit your own desires is a sh*tty way to moderate a fans forum. There is no need to stop a poll with an Option 4, seeing how popular Option 4 is relative to the 3 official options and discussing it from there. Shame on you Mike. Shame on you. This is hilarious! I don't know Mike, but I'd say it's far more likely that he didn't even notice that there was any difference in the options when he decided to delete the other poll. And this. I do find it flattering that you've devoted that amount of effort to attempt to stalk me to somehow read my mind though. If only I was so deep and interesting....

Option 3 although I’d support a few tweaks. It looks slightly ungainly with the full version but it’s important I think to have ‘Cambridge’ there to differentiate us from the other CUFCs. I also like the nod to the old book and ball crest.
Option 1 looks good on the shirt but it’s a bit plain and generic. I like the idea behind option 2 but it just doesn’t do it for me.
I think it’s clear that the new design comes as a package which is essential for merchandise and the digital world. The current badge falls short in that regard even though we have a soft spot for it!

Thank you all. New poll up.
It may turn out the change is preferred. If so, no problem. At least we will then have something that provides a reasonable indication of how much the supporter base wants this change or how much it doesn't.
