Ffs. So this is a new injury. Achilles was the previous I think. Incredible.
Reminds me of that left back from last year or before. Has he played since for another club? Would look him up but can't remember his name.

Out long term according to todays programme and BBC Cambs. Has a toe injury and should be considered a long term absentee like Thomas & Jobe 😟 This is both absolutely unbelievable and completely believable news.

He should allow us to rip up his contract and retire.
He’s got enough money to retire from his years playing in the premier league and championship.

Favourite CUFC player: Spriggs. Dublin. Pitt. Lennett.
Favourite CUFC match: vs Leicester C (H) 1982. Without that...?

Must be a Gary thing. Didn’t Gary Lineker go to Japan and end up barely playing because of a bad toe? Beyond a joke now. Come to some agreement and get rid, and learn from this. I know we can’t foresee it but signing him and Smith on 2 year deals was a risk, a risk that’s has backfired badly.

Hopefully he does and doesn’t do a Jack Rodwell (at Sunderland) and cost us ££ by sitting on his contract. He’s like Adam Miller who we signed in the conference days. Decent reputation but injured and never played again

Similar but Miller did play. He picked up a pitch-invading dog.

Also, who was that player we bought in the 90’s who played 25 minutes or so for us away at Brentford, got clobbered and had to retire?

What a ridiculous situation to be in. I wonder if any insurance we've got on him will allow us a big old Senior Player Sized Payout that we can splurge on someone in January.
Hell, are there any free agents worth snapping up right now?
Feel for the bloke but right now it does feel like we've got several senior presumably high paid players no where near kicking a ball for us, and it shows.

Thank god we saw him in that PR video or I’d start to wonder if he even existed. I doubt we have insurance, it’s expensive and only PL and big spending clubs have it so we’re stuck with a big salary on our books that we won’t get any benefit from. Very unlucky and so frustrating at the same time.
