I can’t find a thread on this, so will ask the question here…what the bloody hell is going on with Gardner?? He was reportedly back in training weeks ago, following an injury that I don’t recall was even reported on, yet the radio silence on him is deafening. Has he died or something??? No one on radio Cambs etc seems remotely interested in asking questions on his return or progress either??
BTW, another great win today 😀

Radio silence? Didn't Monk answer a specific question about him 2 days ago. If I remember rightly should be returning to full training in a couple of weeks.

Ok, the radio silence is about what was his injury, or has there been more than one? He signed 3.5 months ago, and no one has yet seen the guy! Did we actually sign him with an injury? |

He was at the Wigan game and should be back in November. His injury was mis diagnosed earlier in the season and is now back on track

Any idea what his injury is/was? Not sure but he was advised to start running before he should have done and aggravated the injury. It cost the physio his job... then when he was getting over that injury he started feeling pain elsewhere! |

He should be a massive player for us, and I’m looking forward to him bringing some additional quality and competition into the midfield (eventually) |

The Club has probably never been more transparent with injuries - there are updates on all injured players in each Matchday Programme and Garry answers questions in press conferences in a very straightforward manner.

Little nibble from the website guy shows how touchy the Gardner situation is! Why isn’t he round the club on match days like Barton and Lavery were today?
He did do a lovely piece with Astra Zeneca though.
