Just watching Let The Right One In. Aside from some horrendous special effects involving cats, it's been brilliant so far. I presuke you have finished watching it now.... What did you think Russ?

I really enjoyed it, and it is a great tongue in cheek twist on the dull horror genre. I'd recommend..

Denton is hinting at a crucial plot point, which would ruin the film if you knew about it, I recommend watching this with no prior knowledge (even the trailer ruins it apparently)
The bit Denton mentions is reaaaaaaly bizarre but only takes up about half an hour

'I saw the Planet of the Apes prequel today, and thought it was really good. They left a few loose ends though, so expect another one.'
I'll think you'll find it's already been made over 40 years ago.

I saw the Pianist yesterday. I'm not surprised it won 3 oscars. Great British cast, including Nigel from Eastenders, without Clare though I also saw Man at War too. Another good film about Norweignen saboteurs, not entirely accurate from a historic view, but got the main points in

haha its soo odd though it goes from horror to comedy to horror to comedy but its not meant to its kind of like the grudge they do some massive build up for some plastic attempt at a creature to fall down the stairs

I would recommend, whilst on the subject of war films, the harrowing Russian war film "Come and See". Would love to know what you all think of this. *Warning* Don't expect to come away feeling anything but low having watched it. This is the what the director put the young lad through whilst filming "Live ammunition was used in the film - in interviews, actor Aleksey Kravchenko has described actual bullets passing some 10 centimeters above his head. " www.imdb.com/title/tt0091251/

I did have as it's recently only just been released on DVD (couldn't get hold of it for years). But I gave it away. I don't think I could watch again.
