A bit surprised just how terrible his career stats are, his period here looks an outlier and that was only 1 in 4. I know he's more than just goals but you'd expect much better. I love Uche, but I think he was very much a product of the stars aligning with the players around him. If we could get a similar tune out of him again then he'd be good to have in the squad, but his stats before and since don't suggest he can get that form back. He's one that I'd be happy to remain in the past. We'll always have that Mingoia assist.

If Donny get in the playoffs and are against MK Dons, I might need to take a little trip to Milton Keynes in the away end to be a Big-Joe fan for the night. A way to extend the season and fairly local  I can understand but I can't justify giving them money! |

I get that number of goals scored isn't the be all and end all (see Mullin, Smith etc before they came to us). But if we sign any other striker in the summer who had scored 22 times in the last six seasons then we'd be pretty uninspired.

Reminds me of that game under...Quinn(?) when we played someone who had secured the title the previous week. They were 2-0 up early but then the hangover kicked in and we did them 4-2 (I think. Brain is telling me it was Dagenham but they've never been promoted)
