Conner Jennings, 22, 6ft striker (scored 13 in 13 in 2013 for Maccy) has just been let go by newly promoted Scunthorpe.

It doesn't qualify as a 'transfer rumour', merely a statment of fact.

If we go up I think we could get maxwell back.

Get kwesi and maxwell back, a winger possibly and cover at left back and i think we'll be set for next year... Anyone know whether we have anyone in the youth team currently who could be making the step up next year?

Anyone know whether we have anyone in the youth team currently who could be making the step up next year? Mitch Austin could, but he injured himself in last night's match and I have no idea how bad it is. Bobby Joe Taylor might? I'd take these suggestions with a mountain of salt as I've barely seen any of them play. Just two names that stick out.

Mitch Astin is NOT a left back...............Period!! No, but he is a left winger. As is BJ Taylor, hence his post.

Then his post doesn't make sense as Austin is not in the Youth team either!!

Mitch Astin is NOT a left back...............Period!! He played an hour or more at left back against the young Arsenal team last night and didn't look out of place or a liability in that position. Maybe he could become a left back given time and coaching?

Getting Kwesi and Maxwell back is a bit optimistic. Can't really look at anybody until after the 18th

Absolutely no chance of getting Maxwell back. He's on fantastic money at cash-rich Fleetwood who will be either playing in L1 or strong favourites for promotion from L2. Not to mention he's their number one and has been superb!

I've heard that if we get promotion this year then we may be able to sign Appiah. If it is true then that is great news.

Plenty of comings and goings regardless of what happens next sunday imo. How many of our current squad are good enough for L2 im not sure. Rm/jez will have their targets already I would think.
