Can we just get down to naming you strikers that have spent preseason with parent clubs and are likely to go out on loan. If I throw enough sausages, one will stick: Reyes Cleary or Mo Faal from West Brom Justin Obikwu - Coventry Ken Aboh - Norwich Lewis Flower - Brighton Louis Flower,ex Cambridge United academy player poached by Chelsea and transferred to Brighton last year.Hes a Girton lad and his Mum works in a college as a bed maker! |

If we were to carry on creating chances like we did the other night then Dwight Gayle would be perfect. Trouble is I very much doubt he is in our price range People keep saying this about players who are 1) without a club 2) last played in league one. How far off our price range can they realistically be? |

If we were to carry on creating chances like we did the other night then Dwight Gayle would be perfect. Trouble is I very much doubt he is in our price range People keep saying this about players who are 1) without a club 2) last played in league one. How far off our price range can they realistically be? They seem to be holding off longer hoping for desperation bids which isn't much use when we need people now and if they do drop their demands there's probably a few clubs in-between who will also be interested. From the comments from Monk I've read it sounds like we are waiting on loans from PL/Championship sides anyway, which while not as fun as free agent bingo, might mean we get someone through the door who has had a pre season. |

Sounds like we - and other lower division clubs - are waiting for the Prem clubs to settle on their squad 25s, at which point quite a few younger players will suddenly come available for loan.

How far off our price range can they realistically be? to add onto this, surely our "price range" should take into the account the massive budget cut we will have to undergo if we are relegated which currently looks likely if we don't sign a decent number nine |
