Who saw this coming? Actually easier if anyone who didn't see it coming replies. Crazy appointment. Also stupid of Hockaday to accept, I don't buy the 'it was too good to turn down' and 'if Leeds offer you the job you don't turn it down' arguments. Why on earth was it stupid for him to accept? Very odd statement. It was stupid to offer it to him in the first place.

He was a failure at non league FGR, of course you would take the Leeds job rather than wait for Barrow or some other dross to come knocking. Strangely yo my mind he is also more likely to say get a league 2 job now than before this episode.

I feel sympathy for Hockaday to be honest. 6 games is a ridiculously small amount of time to be given to get results in a tough league. But that said we can't pretend he did not know what he was in for, and I'm sure he did weigh up the endeavour and he probably thought turning down a job at Leeds, one of the biggest clubs in the Championship, would be a decision he would have to live with even if it did mean accepting that you'll be under a madman Chairman who changes managers like lightbulbs. I blame Cellino, firstly for offering him the job at all, but secondly for not sticking with him for at least a reasonable amount of time. But what can you do nowadays. The faster they get rid of him the better.
I'm going for Darr*n F*rguson Sam Allardyce next, maybe a bit ambitious but I think the loss to Sheffield has been the first knocks of many this season for him.

Hmmmnn who next for the circus that is LUFC? More to the point, how many managers will Celino get through by the end of the season?

Sam Allardyce next, maybe a bit ambitious but I think the loss to Sheffield has been the first knocks of many this season for him. West Ham would be daft to sack Allardyce. They will never get relegated with him at the helm. Their fans should be careful what they wish for. He was hounded out of Newcastle by their deluded fanbase for the return of the 'hero' Alan Shearer and look what happened there... relegation. Unfortunately he's been stuck with the stigma as a 'long ball merchant' from his time at Bolton and that's what Hammers fans don't like - they believe they should be playing silky fancy football.

Allardyce is a no nonsense manager who just might get on the wrong side of the West Ham board if results don't go well for him soon, but i would love to see him at Leeds if he did get the sack at West Ham, definitely a clash of personalities with him and the Leeds Chairman.

Allardyce is a fat, surly, miserable, graceless sod. He makes Steve Evans look like Nelson Mandela even though Evans is a vile criminal and a bully of the first order.

How about Tony Pulis for Leeds? I'm sure they will have someone lined up to join before deadline day.
