So many to choose from.
I struggle to break away from the Mill Road circuit at the moment.
Really enjoy all the pubs along that majestic boulevard.
Amongst many wonderful establishments The Devonshire shades at the moment for me.

Always liked the Salisbury Arms, not a million miles away from the Devonshire. In my youth there was a helluva pub crawl to be had down Mill Rd. Not many could have a pint in every boozer within 50yds of Mill Road and make it from one end to the other!

Last I time I walked past there it was full of Luton's finest.

The Devonshire is really good and their sister pub The Haymakers in East Chesterton is probably even better as it's a bit more spacious.
The Blue, Kingston, Alex and Gardart just over mill road are all top notch too. Not sure I can pick a favourite - we really are spoilt for choice in that area.
Not your typical 'boozers' but The Pintshop and The Brewhouse in the city centre are great too.

The Kingston Arms for me, but as mentioned above I'll happily drink in most of the Mill Road area establishments.

Kingston but tbh was many years ago I frequented any other pub in Cambridge apart from the Portland occasionally. Hardly anyone I know can be arsed with pub prices these days.

Fort StG, Burleigh, Portland and Hopbine are all run well in the River area. Mill road (west) has been covered, although you should try the Five/six/seven Bells and the Live and Let Live too. A good pub has your favourite tipple, a comfortable room and good company. If two drinks is not enough, then no bar is cheap enough.

The Eagle, The Bridge, The Anchor, The Mitre. Aah, the Mitre. Whether it was bollocks or not, I don't know, but as a lad of 16(ish), I was told it had the longest continuous bar in the country. Doubt even if it was true that it still holds that title! That pub was my "education" in drinking!

Isn't the Regal the biggest pub/bar in the country or something like that?
Anyway, I am quite fond of The Boathouse, and it makes a nice double with the Portland Arms. The Fort St. George, The Anchor and any of the Mill Road lot are all fine drinking establishments.

The Brook on Mill Road (well, Brookfields to be precise) as it is CUFC through and through. Otherwise, personal faves are The Granta, The Anchor and the Maypole, which is probably just for me the best pub in town. Love the fact it is a freehouse, serves Birra Moretti on draft, and will happily show Match of the Day on Saturday night if you ask nicely!
Also, the Brewhouse on King Street is superb with great food too. Hate to say, not a great fan of the Pintshop for some reason, perhaps it is too pretentious as a pub?
