Kevin Campbell gone as well, seemed a decent guy when doing a bit of punditry even though he did break our hearts at Highbury 😔 Will Mullin strike the same pose as your avatar when he scores a hat trick for Wrexham at the Abbey (wearing a red shirt obviously)? That's actually a really weird response to saltyvinegar's post.

Didn't know where to post this and don't think it has been mentioned on another thread, but EG is back after some time away around the same time players and club members have been on holiday. Can we start guessing at which member of staff he is given his knowledge...?

Brophy, surely. Only signed his contract a couple of days ago, EG stays away for those two days to avoid the obvious conclusion being drawn.

Can we start guessing at which member of staff he is given his knowledge...? Nothing as sinister. FAB has just let him back in the public bar again as long as he stays off the snakebite

Not a transfer but...
The old one, Jack Cassidy, is now the 1st team assistant coach at Aalborg BK.

Not sure it’s been posted yet but Southend could be liquidated. Don’t like seeing teams in trouble but couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch in this case.

Hadn't seen that. I'm probably getting my 'about to be liquidated clubs' mixed up with my 'about to be liquidated clubs' but I thought they were under (or about to be) new ownership.

I wouldn't want my support of United to be judged by the actions of a group of murderers but...I would understand it if. It's not a club where sympathy comes easily is it.
At this point it feels almost inevitable they'll fail to come up with the million pound bond and presumably be thrown out of the national league(s). I doubt they come back from that.

There are many Southend supporters who are just like us. Who put time, love and passion towards their club. There are many more of them than there are any othe type of Southend fan.
But, what happened to Simon is a tragedy. I don't wish Southend any further ill, but it's hard to reconcile the feelings of w Cambridge fan, a football fan and being a decent human being.
