In 1938, Manchester City were relegated with a positive goal difference whilst also being top scorers. Sheffield United were also relegated with a positive goal difference in 1981. Just saying… 😁 I was going to add “in most games” Beating Pish 31-0 is still only three points. Worth the relegation.

Winkelman has sold MK Dons to a Kuwait Consortium. More money for the plastics to spend then

I understand that they spread the cost over several years but still, how can Chelsea keep spending like this and not be in danger of FFP rules? Even over five years all these £10 & £20 millions must add up. Surely they'll come a pint where they've spent their transfer budget for years into the future.
Another £54 million today on Neto from Wolves and never any mention of them having the rein things in bar discussions on selling Gallagher, and even that is apparently not going to happen now. Other clubs spend that in an entire transfer window and they're said to be at risk.

They've sold ~£100m worth of homegrown players this summer, with Gallagher & Chalobah to come, plus shed various wages on frees & are lined up to sell Lukaku along with a couple of other players too.

Can’t recall if it was an earlier thread or a different forum but the accusations of FFP ‘fraud’ have been rife. Chelsea sold a player to Villa, who sold one to Everton, who sold one to Chelsea. All long term contracts to show ‘profit’ on the sale of each one. Sounded very dodgy but can’t find the article detailing this. Just another loophole in the farce that is FFP

Newcastle too. All selling inexperienced youth products to each other at prices that raise an eyebrow.

Didn't reading try to sell their training ground to Wycombe? They're developing quite the strange relationship

They didn't have a pot to piss in previously did they? (Wycombe) I assume short term pain, long term gain for Reading then

£9m seems a bargain for Szmodics - let’s hope Posh don’t have a sell on
