Love our rivalry. I’ve joined in my fair share of fat baz chants and enjoy seeing the odd fan blow a gasket on a forum, but in honesty I enjoy being in the same league, enjoy listening to Barry Fry as he’s a really interesting old school football man, and wish my mates well (hidden by the odd jibe) when they head off to London road in blue. We had too long looking up the leagues and missing the rivalry. Naturally I want to end up above them, but the likelihood is low, but I’ll enjoy the chance to 6 points off them next season, and enjoy the same league while it lasts 👍 Spot on. There’s a very recent Quickly Kevin podcast with Fat Baz and although there’s plenty of heard it all before anecdotes from his managerial career, he’s a very funny guy and I’d rather my club was owned or run by someone like him than some faceless oil oligarch or hedgefund with a questionable human rights/criminal record. Of course Paul Barry tops the club owner league anyway. It will be a huge loss to lower league football when Barry Fry finally calls it quits.

Agree - he is a decent bloke by all accounts and I love his passion. I for one love being in the same league as local rivals

Be fair Nick. Whereas you prove that we are better in the League and in particular in the Championship, we have to admit that Pish are better when it comes to the Micky Mouse Cup. Not only are they the holders and have won it before but in comparison we don't even try.

The Peterborough fans are so indifferent to us that, despite an early kick-off time & and reduced away provision, their home game against us was still their third-highest attendance for a league game this season, and last season's home game against us was their 4th-highest attendance for a L1 game ever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The only regular season game at London Road last season that was attended by more than 10,000 Peterborough fans…

Just spent the last 3 hours winding the posh supporters up at my son’s cricket match.
It’s happened again, it’s happened again… Glorious spring evening 😂😂

It made me happy.
And if it makes me happy, it can’t be that bad.

I completely missed this and apologies if it's already been mentioned. Ferguson made The Guardian's Football Daily Quote of the Day yesterday:
QUOTE OF THE DAY
“They were just dropping like flies in the second half and the referee was allowing it to happen and didn’t add any extra time on. He was awful. It was really, really poor officiating from him, and not for the first time. You have to congratulate the opponents though, they’re at Wembley. Very luckily, but they’re there” – Darren Ferguson tries – and fails – to be magnanimous after Peterborough’s narrow defeat to Oxford in the League One playoff semis.

My favourite is, to paraphrase: 'we lost because Portsmouth fans sang too loudly'.

A season of wrist slitting levels of misery and depression on this forum. Of defeat after defeat after defeat. Reams of depressive rants at terrible performances.Of tears over 3 defeats including the biggest ever in your history. Then silence - a veritable ghost town on here as we took Wembley. Then silence again as we took the season to the wire. As the giants stood alone in final battle we fell. Now you choose to be loud. Now you celebrate. As I said before. This is how it should be. Because the day we have to pretend our rivals didn't win at wembley, the day we pretend toforget about losing at home and away, the day when we have to wait till our rivals finish there season to find one ounce of joy is the day ill truly know you are the better club. Enjoy tonight. Let's all pretend the other 365 days of your tears and misery never happened shall we. What is score of bloody match? What is point every season wire?

I suspect you are a terminal fool that operates with the intellect of a mid-sized boll weevil.

The ref added on at least 5 mins in the first half and 8 in the second half. I don't think it was the ref to blame, more Fergie's own eyesight - crying out for a penalty that never was. I think he imagines that he is Fergie Senior these days and can dictate play continues until his team scores; thankfully, Fergie time seems to be a thing of the past!
