Ferguson - he’s a disgrace to the accent.

It was a good game and a deserved result. Always great to get a result against the scum, and nice to see the wife beater have a meltdown.
El Mizouni, Knibbs and Knowles (bit of a shame) don’t look up to it. Mizouni and Knibbs have wasted their chances over the last 2 games.
May, Dunk & Boateng had good games.

Ferguson - he’s a disgrace to the accent. Will want his legal team to look at it tomorrow.

I thought El Mizouni had a better game tonight and hopefully he will come through. We know there is a good player in there.
Dallas.. Hmmm, let's face it he was unlucky not to score tonight and I feel he offered far more than Knibbsy. We have to be honest though, neither have had good game time in the past year. Its a tough one to call but we need strength in depth and we need it now.
Still so much work we need to do our approach to a game. If we are not careful we will soon be known as the go back boys as we quite often spend more time stopping and passing the ball back than we do going forward. We also confine ourselves to over elaborating with the ball in tight spaces only to end up with a hoof and lose possession far to quickly. So frustrating to watch. Other times we play some great football.
Some welcome money for the club after our unnecessary exit from the FA Cup. That exit I put down to Bonner's starting selection.

On the strength in depth issue, I think most of the back up players we have are perfectly fine in isolation, but have been shown to lack the level of quality needed when we have to rely on several at once and they don't have that added experience around them. I suppose it's only natural given the lack of game time and the thrown together nature of a couple of the line ups.

Well the Papa Pizza Wheel Cup has made us £30k so far, which is £25k more than the FA Cup, and it gave us a win over Boro to enjoy too. Our reserves and kids did well tonight. I despise this competition, but I paid my £10. Every little helps this season, and my donation was rewarded with a decent evening of football. How did you get to £30k? Going by previous seasons there is a participation fee of £20k, wins give you another £10k and £5k for each team with a draw. So I make that £45k.

Pleasantly surprised that we won the shoot out. The Scum had a huge advantage given that their kepper has 6 fingers on each hand.

Knibbs is perfectly fine as a third choice at this level & Dallas is the sort of player we should be trying as a fourth choice - I know people love to call for more strikers and proven goalscorers constantly but just think how many years it's been without a consistently good pair of strikers as 1st & 2nd choice so let's be realistic here.

Exactly this Some people seem to struggle with the concept that your 3rd and 4th choice strikers are not as good as your 1st and 2nd. Hence they are 3rd and 4th! The best teams in the world aren’t as good when their first choice players are out. It’s called a squad!

I think both are short of match sharpness and in Dallas case could do with a month on loan somewhere to get some confidence. Knibbs showed last year he could score goals. El Mouzini looked better last night and this may be down to getting some game time the last couple of weeks.

I wonder if the recall of Worman/Neil says anything to the extent of Mullin/Ironside's injury?
It wouldn't make much sense to recall both for a 20 minute kick about with Posh's reserves, but I guess its better than twiddling their thumbs while non-league is largely out of action.

Honestly some of you take the biscuits! Completely denigrate the competition! Do a serious character assignation of certain (out of favour) players! Use some very offence language, regarding their local rivals. Cambridge have been in the shadow of Pish for multiple decades! Think some of you are getting too emotionally involved! (Maybe it’s the lack of live football). Don’t talk bollocks pal, we are never in their shadow, and where were they when we were in the championship for 8 years. Of course we are in there shadow and have been for years both in terms of the league we are in,finance and ground redevelopment. They have built 2 new stands in the last 10 years and are now going to move to a brand new stadium in the next few years. They have made millions on buying potential players from lower leagues and selling on for huge profits.Im afraid it will remain like that for the foreseeable future as I think they are on course for promotion.
