Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t our last home league game on a Friday night result in us sacking our manager? Money v Bristol Rovers? Also I'm fairly sure Rob Newman was sacked after a Friday night defeat at home to Exeter. Yep, that’s the one. Fingers crossed.

Ditch the diamond for this one. As someone suggested on another thread, it’s a system which Derry stumbled upon, we initially got a couple of promising results with it, but he simply hasn’t got the tactical nous to make it work consistently. Back to basics - a rigid 4231 and make ourselves difficult to beat.
Mitov; Halliday, Taft, Taylor, Carroll; Phillips, O’Neil; Waters, Jevani, Dunk; Ikpeazu

I assume the Lincoln Transit Elite will be hanging about on Coldhams Common for a pre match duff up? Definitely. Let’s hope the Romsey Fleet are moored.
Anybody considered the weather by the way? And why is it on the Friday?Originally it was a Saturday when the fixtures came out, I booked something else for the Friday that I can't now get out of, so I won't be able to see it. Some may say that's a good thing, but having bought a season ticket its a bit galling. Anyway I support the team through thick and thin and wanted to see it. Have to say there have been wore seasons than this, but I don't want to go back to the days of 1800 people. Its not so long ago we were getting 5/6000 a game. As everyone keeps saying, 'whats happened'. It seemed to me we were cruising along nicely, then something upset the proverbial applecart. What happened to the transparency we were promised? Why is very little info coming out of the club? I think we have a right to know whats going on WE ARE THE CLUB

They'll beat us, that's all. A 1 or 2 nil defeat. I'll be there, as I was at Yeovil, but for those who really can't face it, I see Histon have won 7 out of their last 8 games, with an 8-0 victory on Saturday. (Beginning to get the hang of this trolling business...)

I expect us to lose and for it to be Derry's last game.

I don’t think the club has ever told us why the game was switched to the Friday, or did I miss that?

I don’t think the club has ever told us why the game was switched to the Friday, or did I miss that? Massive over reaction by the Plod, Wrestlers will close at lunch time Wednesday JIC. Just imagine if we ever played Millwall again. A 4pm KO behind closed doors at a mystery venue.

They had dispersal orders all over town when we played at Lincoln earlier this season. Not a hint of any trouble, but I guess that could have been because of the dispersal orders?

Danny Cowley isn't happy about it - the match will be their 5th in 15 days. Playing Chelsea in the semi of the Checkatrade tonight, so he wanted it moved back to Saturday at 3.

I don’t think the club has ever told us why the game was switched to the Friday, or did I miss that? Derry wanted it changed, so he could go and watch Notts county on the Sat, and be amongst their fantastic supporters.
