Didn’t it kick off outside supporters club the last time Lincoln played us ? That was back in the Conference days(the last season), that was a Friday night too, I recall?

I'm looking forward to it, about time we had another Friday night fixture. Takes me back to the days of Saint and Greavsie on a Saturday lunchtime and being able to watch ours (and Tranmere's) goals from the previous night. As for this match, about time Derry gets a good result. 2-2. 2-2 against a team with Lincoln's current form is hardly a good result. A solid defence and forwards who act less like headless chickens in front of goal will see a winning performance, otherwise it will be more of 'how didn't we win that'.

Will lose 3-0 then the board will come out saying what a good job Derry is doing.

Serves him right for taking the B Team trophy seriously, no sympathy here

"Danny Cowley isn't happy about it - the match will be their 5th in 15 days. Playing Chelsea in the semi of the Checkatrade tonight, so he wanted it moved back to Saturday at 3."
I have no sympathy. Sod him. Shouldn't have taken such a ridiculous competition so seriously then should he. Shove it up your b*llocks mate.
Thank Dion we were were knocked out of it early, I'm also glad we threw the league cup game give how badly it affected us last season.
Huzzah! It's a good news day.

Serves him right for taking the B Team trophy seriously, no sympathy here I totally agree, but beating Chelsea tonight (very doable!) will get him a Wembley appearance for his team and boost his CV no end. Ambitious manager, how we could do with someone like him right now.....

Although according to some on here none of our players would have any respect for someone like Cowley because he didn't play at a high enough level. 🙄

Derry out.
Also - I wish we could loan out Mark Bonner and see how he does managing a tinpot conference south side for a year. If you can do it with players you have high hopes for then why not try it with young coaches?

“We need the support of the fans, we need the backing of the faithful that come to The Abbey because the players do. The players need that, whenever – and I’ve said this many times before – our fans have got right behind us we seem to put a performance and we need that.”
Yep, our fault again. Perhaps that Maxi chap actually is a fan, but Derry still hauled him up in front of the players to blame him for the Coventry goals!

Don't be so daft, we're not getting relegated to the conference south (It'll be the conference north)
