You mean ones like this? Back to normal. Honeymoon over for Bonner. We need a new man in ASAP to clear out this dead wood. Feel sorry for that good turnout watching that crap. Hope the Board take action quickly. If Bonner thought anything for this club he would say that he doesn’t want the job.

I look forward to seeing what Darren Moore says about us. Andrew That we're tinpot shite undeserving of gracing the same league as the mighty Sheffield Wednesday & that not winning by at least a 3-goal margin would be a failure and a sackable offence on his part. Probably.

Can’t wait for the white flag to be waved by Bonner tomorrow. We all know Wednesday are a massive side in this division. It’s not what the players need to be hearing before the game. I think 0-2. And we will play PLAN A. Just play 442 with good old fashioned winger’s. You do realise that MB sees the players face to face and the press confrence is for eveyone else?!!!!

Bad runs always come to an end. Mindless optimism and misplaced confidence will see us to victory on Saturday.

Some people never wanted Bonner in charge, have failed to give him credit for the job done thus far, and will take any opportunity to criticise him. Just have a quick scan through the post history of people who crop up at times of poor form and it speaks volumes. I find it really odd. At least with supposed ‘happy clappers’ you can assume those people just want to support their club, take the positives and enjoy the experience - what is in it for those who are ceaselessly critical? I have some sympathy for them because it must be truly miserable, and it’s telling that what irks them more than anything is people being positive. They hate it! I think the ceaselessly critical enjoy bring able to say "I told you so" when it eventually goes wrong, as 99% of management tenures do.

Bonner is suffering against the weight of inflated expectations, same as any successful manager.
He's doing an amazing job despite his incredible successes for me and having to wait 70 minutes for a substitution is unlikely to change that.

I think a lot of people didnt want Bonner, but I dont think anyone can deny the success and job done so far. What is annoying some to varying degrees is the sticking to plan A even when plan A isnt working.

Anyway, I would love to see a shake up.. either 2 up top properly (Smith & Okinhebire) or Okinhebire and Lankaster starting. Maybe even Simper too just to freshen things. And Rossi back too. With that a 2-2 draw!
But I think it will be minor tweaks to last week and a 0-3 score

He doesn't do that for me. I think what a lot of people want from a plan B is something in the face like triple subs or a formation change, what Bonner prefers are subtle positional changes and a flexible formation. These things happen throughout a game and show his willingness to adapt even if we don't necessarily always see it.

For me the Bonner experiment is over. The PE teacher has finally been found out. Time for a dogmatic serial winner like Steve Evans to take the reigns and propel this club to the next level.

I'd leave Smith out personally for this one. Been like a petulant child of late and maybe his ego may come down with a spell on the bench and get a reaction. Think Okenabirhie deserves a start as well. Think we'll get a point in a 1-1 draw.

Can't say I've really noticed any change in Smith's attitude or efforts from normal to be honest. He didn't like being subbed the other day but then he never does & most players don't (remember Digby walloping the chair when he was brought off earlier this season?). What sort of thing are you referring to?

We're enjoying our second successive season in League One and we knew it would be tough. But we've got a brilliant young manager who will fix it and a squad that knows he will fix it and believe in what's being created at United. Meanwhile I've just read that Coventry City's landlords, Premiership rugby union club Wasps, have gone into administration. Blessings should always be counted...

Andrew Let's face it - Bonner has proved he's a pretty good tactician (much better than Derry or Calderwood). Does he always get it perfect? No, not always, but he does get it fairly right quite often.

What sort of thing are you referring to? Just dont think he's been on it since the transfer window ended. Throwing himself to the floor alot and mouthing off. The point was made in the Morecambe thread about Knibbs getting knocked over and instead of complaining he got up and made a run in to the box and scored. When Smiths knocking the goals in he can goad the opposition fans and players but at the moment he's not. The Forward area is where we have competition for places and plenty can play on the right such as Tracey, Knibbs and Lankester. I would just freshen it up and see if I got a reaction. But then Im not the manager MB is!
