Just for perspective, 13 years ago today we lost 3-0 at Hayes & Yeading in front of 744 fans. Yes this Saturday was crap but we’ve come a long way. Crickey that game was awful wasn't it. Out of that 744 there were more Us than home fans wasn't there? I regretted taking a couple of mates to that game as we were utterly atrocious, how far we have come!

Another Owl here in peace. I came to the game on Saturday and sat in the family enclosure with some other members of the family who live in Cambridge. I have to say that regardless of the fact that we won, I thoroughly enjoyed my day out at Cambridge. It was nice to go to a game without having the aggressive attitudes that so many clubs fans seem to have these days and sit and just enjoy a game of football. You might not have had the result that you wanted but your club is moving in the right direction compared to where you were a few seasons back and its good to see the club engaging with the local community. I came away thinking you have plenty to be positive about as a club. You had some good possession at the start of the second half without finding the killer ball to unlock our defence and on another day things might have gone in your favour. Anyway good luck for the rest of the season and maybe we will see some of you up at Hillsborough in the new year. If you do make the journey give the Kelham Island area a try for a pre match pint.

Dimi spotted this morning in David Lloyd's gym with a leg/ankle brace on injured foot.

He was clearly struggling and I bet it's pretty swollen, sadly probably made a little worse by playing the rest of the game. Hopefully just an impact injury though rather than anything more serious and he won't be out for more than a week or 2 at most.

Wow!! I swear some people have been shouting 'What's Mark Bonner ever done for us..'
I think we just in the phase of trying to work out our strongest team and formation.
We've had a rough patch but if we can come through it, we will be better for it.
