I'm bracing myself. Whatever they choose is what we're going to have, fair enough. It's going to cause an absolute outrage on here whatever the new badge, and our old one will be gone. Makes me a little bit sad until I remember feeling the same when the book and ball went - and I got over it. UIE

Not too surprising

The dullest most generic choice. So bland they had to write the club name underneath as nobody would recognise.

I do like that they've extended the range with a nice logo for the stadium and keeping the book and ball for other merchandise, appriciate the adding of coconuts too. Of course they got Dion to announce it all. www.cambridgeunited.com/NewCrest

The best choice imo, happy with that.

Fantastic video to announce the change, while it was never going to please everyone I do think that was the best option of the 3.

Did Dion get paid for this or did he do it out of the kindness of his heart, I wonder?

I'm OK with that. A couple of little bits I'm not so keen on but overall well done the board. And I *love* the coconuts element! They said they'd listen and they have. It was going to happen, and they've done a good job of it. Again.

If we are going for that then we might as well have saved the thousands on a designer and used AI.
If you're going to make an effort to change the badge that's been around about 30 years, then at least produce something that is less naff.

Months of consultation, planning and energy to produce the most generic football badge imaginable.

Glad it's finally been announced and I hope it has the impact on attracting commercial partners we hoped for. I'd have kept the current one myself but, sigh, I'm old and sentimental and apparently slick business types don't want to invest in me anymore.
I like some of the secondary motives a lot. Not really feeling the lamp post thing myself but the coconuts, Marvin and Abbey Stadium ones are cute...especially coconuts. It's such an oddly specific thing about our club that I'm surprised it took us this long to properly embrace it.
I'm not enthusiastic about the scarf but having our motto out there is important.

The main badge is a bit meh for me, the whole spread of logos appeals more. Good to see the club trying things and moving forward.
