24 hours in the life of Gary Gardner videos, on a daily basis, is what's needed.

"The soon to be old badge simply gives the impression of an organisation that doesn't care about its image. This is because it is 1980s clip art. That so many people cannot see this FACT surprises me"
I think for me it's like going on a date with a guy who's interesting, makes you laugh and volunteers at a pet rehoming shelter in his spare time, but you leave him in a ditch because he wears scruffy looking shoes.
I don't care about the shoes is what I'm saying.
...but yeah, I understand some people care about shoes.

It’s not really the new badge which is an issue, it’s just the club has way more important things to be getting on with I'm curious as to what you think we aren't doing that we should be? To me it seems we are doing much more than we've ever done. I’m disappointed the stadium isn’t further along than it was originally suggested it would be and I’d rather we were putting all off-pitch resource into this. People will counter this by saying “things are progressing yadayada”, which is a view they’re entitled to. It’s still frustrating - the badge for me isn’t anywhere near as important as the stadium yet the club seem to have put a lot of effort into the badge and all it has achieved so far is pissing off a chunk of the fanbase.

Crikey, laker! Surely it is obvious that the ground redevelopment is a) progressing and b) is soooooo much more difficult and slow because of all of the elements that are beyond the direct control of CUFC.
I would hope the people at the club are competent enough to work on different projects at the same time.
The crest thing is relatively simple. The trickiest part - being mindful of those that hate it - has imho been handled with sensitivity and emotional intelligence.

If it was handled sensitively and with the entire support base in mind, then now they've come up with their final design they'd have put forward a straight vote between that and the current one. Nowhere in this process has that been considered. Instead we've gotten a drawn out consultation period with the choices at each stage being change, change, and change.

It's a fair point Rozza.
"We know better than you" is the implication, which, I should imagine, is not the most pleasant message to receive.
Sooooooo, setting that bit aside (!) since then it's been handled about as well as is possible.

I honestly don’t get this ridiculous notion that some people have that because the club are doing one thing they obviously aren’t doing anything else.

You'd be very bored at work if you had one project, that lasted 5 years and you had to send an email out once every few weeks. With the amount of bods we've got knocking about we can definitely spin 2 plates at a time (I get i'm probably doing the stadium project a disservice but it get's the point across)

This is the worst thing to ever happen Apart from the training ground facilities and buying the stadium back of course.

For some of us on here the nod to River Plate is very meaningful 😀 I'm only going to be happy if the new logo launch has it emblazoned on a sexy 'sash' kit. Only then will I be confident We are going to PTTL etc.

Whoever did the badge design could have spent that time showing Brophy how to score. The club's got its priorities all messed up. Hate to think how much time Garry Monk has been spending working on that presentation with Dion instead of doing free kick drills. It's a disk race.

The showing Brophy thing would be wasting their time and his. Reminds me I need to shop for a new toilet seat myself. Do you think the club shop do one?
