It’s a pity that the St Albans game isn’t a proper 90 minutes match, might have been tempted to go but 4 x 30 minutes periods is just a training exercise not a real friendly match.
If that’s how United want to prepare for the new season then fair enough, but i don’t think I’d want to pay to watch that

Because you've hitched it up to a wagon and ridden off on it? When you are called out, sometimes the best thing to do is apologise/acknowledge. But deep down I suspect that you know that. P.s. I'm 6ft3. My horse IS high. I haven’t got anything else to add to what I’ve already said about this, really. I’m not sure why you feel you need to quote your height at me - it reads a bit like you’re trying to be intimidating..? Oh dear, no I'm definitely not trying to be intimidating and apologies for my post reading like that to you. I was trying to be a smartarse with a joke about high horses etc.

It's very local for me so I made sure I would be free at 3pm and booked all my other stuff in for earlier in the day.... The 12 o'clock kick off has made me look silly

I wonder if this means that it’s now a proper 90 minute match ?

Didn't we do that at Cardiff? Yes we did and put out 2 different teams which did include lots of the younger pros

St Albans then.
Did the format ever get confirmed? Not that it matters I suppose, I'd expect us to use about 22 players as we did against Cardiff and presumably Spurs (spit) too.
Don't recall seeing Jobe against Cardiff so hopefully he plays. Did Simper play that game?, I don't remember. Hopefully we learn a little more about Haunstrup one way or the other too...and Janneh, though it looks more likely he'll be part of the squad.
Good to hear how Cousins gets on too.

Simper played, yeah.
I suspect we'll play a mixed team in both halves, same as Cardiff.
Doubt we'll see our "first choice" XI play together until the final PSF, although I reckon it's probably in place now:
Stevens
Bennett, Bennett, Morrison, Andrew
Cousins, Digby
Brophy Thomas Okenabirhie
Ahadme
I think it's pretty likely we'll line up like that for the first game of the season, possibly with a bit of shuffling between Thomas, Okenabirhie & Lankester.
