Yeah, pretty clear we need incomings in the forward part of the pitch. A deflected goal in a pre season game does not make Janneh the answer.

A mess in that we’ve known for about 6 months that our key attacking players would not be re-signing and with two weeks until our season starts we haven’t been able to replace them.
Granted there is still time, plenty until the end of the window, but from a recruitment point of view it’s a mess.
It wasn’t particularly a comment on his Janneh. He’s a professional footballer. He clearly has ability.

The kick that was charged down? He's looked competent apart from that. Lots of simple things done simply.

Seriously, what does Mannion have to do?? Never put a foot wrong for us. He should be number 1. Obviously, I'm judging by one comment about one half in a pre season friendly but still. |

New season, clean slate and all that. Not claiming he’s the answer…..whatever that means. |
