Seems like Gardner, Smith, Loft etc must be a bit behind fitness wise. I get they joined into pre season but a it’s a bit of a shame, ideally we’d have Smith and Gardner starting on match day 1 but doesn’t look like they’ll be quite ready for that at this stage. Hopefully they get some minutes off the bench today at least. I understand that Gardner & Smith were out of contract so not training but Loft & Richards should have been with their old clubs. Hopefully all of them make an appearance etc week |

Just made a late decision to go. Can we just rock up and pay at the turnstiles? Where are you mate? We’re here. Sorry Marvin, missed you. I was chatting with Ray behind the goal that we attacked 2nd half. That was a decent run out and a result that didn’t flatter us in the least. We kept and moved the ball well and pressed them high which was good to see, in fairness we could have scored a couple more. We hit the under side of the bar and their keeper made 3 or 4 very good saves including a RIGHT footed screamer from Brophy that was heading for the top corner. A good outing considering that Smith, Loft and Gardner didn’t feature and we had a couple of the kids starting. |

Didn’t really notice him which is a good thing I guess, right? He wasn’t really tested much although he made a very decent save in the 2nd half. Had no chance with the goal. Tougher tests to come. |

We sat in the Main Stand first half and then watched from the bar second half which may explain why I missed our second goal. Oops. I spoke to some of our media team after the game and nobody is really 100% sure who got our equaliser but the general feeling was that it was a Page og. |

That's fair enough. The feeling was that nobody was even sure he got a touch but if he did then I'm more than happy to stick it down as his goal in the records. |
