Seems like Gardner, Smith, Loft etc must be a bit behind fitness wise. I get they joined into pre season but a it’s a bit of a shame, ideally we’d have Smith and Gardner starting on match day 1 but doesn’t look like they’ll be quite ready for that at this stage. Hopefully they get some minutes off the bench today at least. I understand that Gardner & Smith were out of contract so not training but Loft & Richards should have been with their old clubs. Hopefully all of them make an appearance etc week

Brophy has scored a goal. You boys have obviously dropped acid.

Get one and they will flow like summer rain for him, or maybe not. Nah I’ll get my coat! I’ve been readily proclaiming this a 5 Broph Goal season for the last few days. Big change is a(left)foot.

Just made a late decision to go. Can we just rock up and pay at the turnstiles? Where are you mate? We’re here. Sorry Marvin, missed you. I was chatting with Ray behind the goal that we attacked 2nd half. That was a decent run out and a result that didn’t flatter us in the least. We kept and moved the ball well and pressed them high which was good to see, in fairness we could have scored a couple more. We hit the under side of the bar and their keeper made 3 or 4 very good saves including a RIGHT footed screamer from Brophy that was heading for the top corner. A good outing considering that Smith, Loft and Gardner didn’t feature and we had a couple of the kids starting.

Didn’t really notice him which is a good thing I guess, right? He wasn’t really tested much although he made a very decent save in the 2nd half. Had no chance with the goal. Tougher tests to come.

We sat in the Main Stand first half and then watched from the bar second half which may explain why I missed our second goal. Oops. I spoke to some of our media team after the game and nobody is really 100% sure who got our equaliser but the general feeling was that it was a Page og.

That's fair enough. The feeling was that nobody was even sure he got a touch but if he did then I'm more than happy to stick it down as his goal in the records.
