Yep, whatever you think of him or Stevenage I think it`s a decent enough call, especially to target their local Spurs / Arsenal fans who`d be paying double of what they pay in the Premiership. That said doubt it would put any more than a couple of hundred floating fans on the gate if they`re lucky. Remembering Accrington`s "Appeal" a few months back for the relegation dogfight against the Mighty U`s ( my how thing`s have changed !!). Think they may had added about some 300 or so extra but certainly didn`t add anything to the dull "Atmosphere" from the home fans ..........Oh yes, and still enjoying George Thomas` goal even now !

Evans is most probably the biggest spanner in the tool box, but what he's saying here is spot on. Support your local side you never know you might just enjoy it. Even if it's only 2 or 300 more it makes a difference

"Only the bottom is going according to prediction so far."
With one exception, at least!

Evans is different to the run of the mill dosser and dwad managers like Barton - he's much smarter and I bet if you were to sit with him after a match you'd find out way more about football than if you were to talk to the rest of that lot.

Yes, as much as his history and sideline histrionics put people off, I've spoken to a couple of people who have worked with EVANS and they've begrudgingly admitted he's an incredibly good football manager who has a sharp tactical mind and can spot a very good player. If he likes you, he makes you feel like a million dollars but if you get on the wrong side of him, that's when you experience the dark side!

Don’t think many doubt his ability as a football manager - his record speaks for itself. He’s just a c**t.

I doubt it'll be their last this season.
The three points was suspended only last month, I think, and they failed at the first attempt to avoid it.

Also, I don't know the answer but a points deductions deduction doesn't seem like an entirely fair sanction to me. Punishing the players and fans of Reading while Dai Younge pisses the club into the ground strikes me as harsh. He'll keep doing it because he doesn't appear to give a f*ck.
At the very least the EFL need to revaluate their fit and proper persons test and why it approved the takeover of reading when the Premier league denied his attempted buyout of a then Premier League Hull.
So many clubs getting run into the ground. What a state.

Spoke to some Reading fans out in Poland last week, they seem happy to have a club and not that fussed if they get relegated. See it as a journey with some entertainment value

I doubt it'll be their last this season. Andrew Yep - just reading the accompanying articles on the BBC website it looks highly likely there will be more. So the owners fell in love with football watching Manchester City so decided to buy Reading! Poor players, poor fans. Their ownership is a disgrace.

Punishing the players and fans of Reading while Dai Younge pisses the club into the ground strikes me as harsh. I think points deductions in cases like this are completely fair. You can't allow teams to get a way with spending money they can't/won't afford, otherwise it's an unfair advantage to the rest of the league. I agree it's not the fans fault, but that doesn't mean you can give them a pass to break agreed rules that are in place to keep it fair.
