2nd highest attendance % capacity so far this season. Early days so far but with a number of local derbies (and Derby) still to visit, wouldn't be surprised to see that 89% figure be there or thereabouts come season end.
Once again highlighting the need to expand the stadium...

Seeing that four season growth is interesting. Sure 19/20 wasn't a picture season and we're in a higher division but a 3000 growth is exceptional.
Perhaps more telling is the increase in crowds since promotion. Incredible.
About 10% of me thinks where the f*ck where you people when we were shite and needed crowds. Another 10% that hates people kind of hates the lack of space. The remaining 80% is delighted though.

Absolute massive congratulations and kudos to the club for this. It's the number one thing we need, beyond all else, and we're doing it beyond I think anyone's expectations.
The pressure on the SC to accept the redevelopment plans must be huge because once redevelopment happens it's no longer an unrealistic prospect that we'll be pushing crowds of 10k within a few years of redevelopment.
Unreal times to be U.
But we shouldn't have loaned out Bennett to Walsall.

Actually finding the NRE increasingly claustrophobic, and seriously considering a move!

This last two seasons the yoof in there has grown to massive numbers and they are now regulars. So Andrew, they weren't here before, I think that's where our increase is coming from to a significant extent. It's also the future of course. Be joining you Habbin lot soon I wouldn't wonder- we'll wake you lot up!!

Would be good to see the growth in home attendandce over the timescale. The average attendances are always going to be higher in League 1 with larger away followings. The Chav's and Reading have bought over 1k for night games so far this season. Wouldn't be getting that from Harrogate & Barrow in Div2 for example. All positive though as there sell outs in home area's before games.

At the Oxford match there were groups of old boys who've been coming for years right through a great spectrum including summer language school kids through to groups of teenage girls who weren't with any other male friends or family. A fun and welcoming atmosphere for all demographics is how we'll grow the attendance;and of course being good enough that most people think we might win any given match. But, and it's a big but, we still have many whingeing moaners amongst our fanbase who genuinely think it was all much better when there was nowhere to get a drink at all, pukka pies not hot, weak tea in a styrofoam cup, 1 sub, a constant threat of violence near the ground and very few women in the crowd. It wasn't better then, I/you/we were younger and everyone had more exciting times aged 16 than 56 that's a fact of life. Opinion. Discuss?

Plus we’ve got the home games against Fleetwood, Burton and Cheltenham where we can pretty much fill the South Stand with home fans. As there will be zero trouble from the above away fans I hope the club can maximise the space available for home fans like they did for the FGR game and share the South Habbin with home and away fans. Especially if we’re still good later in the season.
There’s always young kids in both parts of the Habbin and most of the time they can’t get a good view of the pitch due to being short and the shallow gradient of the terrace. Can’t really see the harm of letting really young kids stand at the front against the fence which is where I first started but seated Habbin will make a great family area to watch the game with an unobstructed view.

The 10% is mostly standing. Some more unobstructed view seats could sell themselves pretty easily. I dream of a mainstand with a few more rows and columns, exec boxes at the back and no pillars. Columns not pillars. That probably about stage eleven of any expansion.

Lally columns. Metal pipe filled with concrete. Very narrow for the load. If I had to put up with one.
