What if Cambridge City had accepted the offer to join the Football League instead of Ipswich in the 1930’s? Would City now have a stadium the size of Portman Road in Cambridge and have won the FA Cup and a European competition instead of them? Would a City fan in a pink jacket have videos himself being upset about losing to a tin pot pissy club? And no doubt 95% of us on here would be on a Cambridge City fans website instead of a United one.

What if Wes had signed in the summer of 2019 under Calderwood as planned and not gone to Australia?

I wonder if Paul Barry might lie awake tonight wondering how things would be now if he'd given MB more time to turn things around. And backed him again in the January window instead of letting Harris sign Bonne and Taylor before jumping ship.

I was Bonner in and I am already Monk out. But the replacement of Bonner with Harris was generally successful, on the pitch, right up to the point Millwall sacked their manager.

No, sacking Bonner was probably the right call, sadly. And appointing Harris was also probably the right call, sadly.
It's life. It's football. Shite happens.

Last season Burton saved our skins taking points off MK! We stay up! Fast forward 2024 we go to Port Vale, safe in the knowledge that our place in L1 is secured. Vale need the win to stay up! Just hope we’d be as committed as Burton?

No, we stayed up by getting more points over 46 games than MK Dons did. Burton had no more part in it than the other 22 teams MK played twice over the course of the season.

Just hope we’d be as committed as Burton? Burton played well against us, restricted us to 0.8xG and the keeper kept us out when we did get through and took our fate out of our hands. Burton were then terrible against MK, conceded 3xG and only a lot of karma from our loss at the Winkeldome stopped MK from winning. Hope they get relegated back to regional football where they belong experimental361.com/2023/05/09/league-1-timelines-2-7-may-2023/

Despite their keeper’s heroics last season I still think they were fortunate to win the conference above us in 2008 when they were able to beat Weymouth u14’s 9-0. Soulless crap stadium as well

5-0, it was Rubbish and Dustbins (throwback bantz) who won 9-0. Lee Tomlin celebrating the 8th or 9th goal like he'd just settled the world cup final was a level of bellendary that got him a move to the Scum...
But yeah, no real axe to grind with anyone down there myself. In hindsight, if we'd gone up then I don't think we'd be anywhere near where we are now.
