I'm liking your swagger...and it's a Sunday and the feast day of St Hugh of Lincoln. What could possibly go wrong?

I don't think it's too early. I feel like it's a match thread that jonnosflying is going to want to contribute a lot to. I wonder he wants to win? Presumably us as Cobblers are Posh's "real" rivals after all. Can't wait to hear his thoughts...

Agree with all of your post except the 5% that referred to his thoughts ....I'm not sure that thinking is his specialist subject.

The two games against Wobbs are the only 6 points I want 5cum to win all season. I hope you humiliate those six fingered retards in the same manner as we made 5cum our little bitches and you can help send them down with you. I doubt it though, I think they will be just too good for you, especially as it will only take 1 goal as Bonner is likely to go his usual 10 men behind the ball tactics as always.

Can we not use retards as an insult, please? It's an incredibly offensive term.

Can we not use retards as an insult, please? It's an incredibly offensive term. Andrew They all start out as medical terms and then stigma marches in and ruins them. Apart from thickos. Not a medical term. Always stigma. I've often thought that intelligence can be a curse without a nurturing environment. More of a duty to serve the community and advance humanity in the healthier examples. Belittling, like any finger pointing, says three times more about the pointer than their target. It is good that Northampton are clear of their previous financial troubles. Not the way you want to reward the faith of your local council.

Andrew I always find it amusing that those who use such language often believe they hold some sort of moral and intellectual high ground when using it, which is the case here. I'm also annoyed at myself for being more annoyed at the term 'Wobbs', for reasons of pure embarrassment, than the grossly offensive term used.

I've no comment to make on the intellectual capacity of someone using the word particularly. We all have educational gaps in what is or isn't acceptable to say, especially when young perhaps, and although the nastiness of this particular word used as an insult should be obvious what's important to me is how we respond.
It's ok in this instance to show humility and apologise, I think. We all mess up but we hopefully use the information learned to be better versions of ourself. That's how I judge a person anyway.
A bit preachy but there you go.
Anyway, looking forward to this one. It's a real test of our character after last week and after so long to stew on it. The week off could be masterstroke to reinvigorate a few players as it did last season, or...if we get a poor performance, it could provide a reason for a few more fans to take against the players.

4 points from the next 2 games would be acceptable. Not sure which way round I’d like the points to arrive but I’d really like to see us score an away goal in the flesh for the first time this season. 2 very winnable games anyway.

Will be interesting how we set-up for this one. Hopefully we can get some better service up to Fejiri - 2-1 win.
